I went to the post office to exchange postcards with writing mistakes for new stamps. Using the new stamps, I sent some cat food to the shelter where my cat was rescued.
A fee of 10 yen per item applies for exchanges, but in Japan, we can exchange postcards with mistakes, unused postcards, and unused stamps for new postcards and stamps.
This fee was raised from 5 yen to 10 yen in 2023, but I hadn’t realized. It seems like everything is getting more expensive!
In your country, can you reissue postcards and stamps like Japan does? I’d like to know!
